Lodging

It is highly recommended that you book rooms at the UGA Hotel, which is attached to the Georgia Center for Continuing Education. https://www.hotel.uga.edu/

Per night, per person room rates:

$100 single occupancy (one queen bed)

$50 double occupancy (two 4’x6’ beds)

$70 double occupancy (two queen or two double beds)

We have a block of 75 rooms reserved for the CCMI meeting until February 23rd 2018; therefore it is expected that everyone will be able to be accommodated at the on-campus UGA Hotel. For those of you coming from outside the United States, we also have 25 rooms reserved for check in: Saturday March 24th.

Once you complete the registration form, you will be directed to the “Registration Shopping Cart”. You will see a button “Reserve Hotel Room”.

Unfortunately, there is no online mechanism by which you can choose or identify a roommate. We are working on this, but probably for now it is safe to say you will need to identify your own roommate or contact the Chair via email, and he will help you find a roommate. For those intending to stay in double occupancy rooms, only one person will need to reserve the room; roommates will be able to split the cost upon check out.

There are several other lodging options in downtown Athens, GA. However, the cost is likely to be higher, and it is about a 10 minute walk from downtown to the conference center.
